Discover the Salewa Zerbu Medium Warm AMR shirt, perfect for mountaineering with its temperature regulation technology and optimal comfort.
Improved thermoregulation
The Zébru is the perfect base layer for regulating your body temperature, providing warmth during intense scenarios and cold conditions. This short-sleeved T-shirt, made of 64% merino wool, is designed to wick moisture, dry quickly, and enhance thermoregulation.
IL textile technology
It gets its name from Mount Zebrù (3,735 m) in the Ortles massif in Italy. It is primarily made of super-fine merino wool that offers the optimal warmth desired and comfort against the skin. We enhance the fibres with a blend of merino and Responsive polyamide yarns made from a unique mix of natural thermoreactive minerals. The reactive infrared (IL) from the body is gradually released back into the muscle tissue, much like a south-facing rock slope that stores and releases energy radiated from the sun. The improved thermoregulation provides more comfort and increases blood flow during activity, enhancing cellular performance and increasing oxygen levels for longer-lasting warmth. The Responsive technology is an integral part of the fabric and therefore does not diminish over time with washes.
The Zebru is soft to the touch, features an athletic cut, and has a body mapping system. The polyamide yarns offer durability and strength while helping to maintain its fitted shape. The special circular knitting process creates a seamless piece that reduces itching for added comfort. The merino also naturally resists odors.
