Effective protection
The Alp Trainer 2 is an evolving mid-cut hiking shoe made from high-quality durable suede and stretchy material, featuring a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining that provides effective protection on varied terrains and in different weather conditions. It has a generous rubber toe cap at the front for better protection against rocks and in scree.

Adjustable comfort
Designed to provide comfort from the very first step, it offers a snug fit and good support. Our patented 3F System, with a steel cable, ensures firm ankle support and good lateral stability, while the Flex Collar enhances range of motion at the back and ankle comfort during descents. Additionally, the SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) is customizable with interchangeable overlays that allow you to further refine the volume. The climbing laces allow for precise adjustment all the way to the toes for added accuracy on technical terrain.

Improved grip and traction
Underfoot, the enhanced Vibram® Alpine Hiking sole, developed exclusively by SALEWA®, provides better performance and greater control on a wide range of mountainous terrains and delivers excellent performance in wet conditions and on mud thanks to its dedicated areas for climbing, traction, and braking, along with its solid lugs.
