We make the fitted upper of the Wildfire 2 shoes from a strong, recycled mesh, which we reinforce with a network of Kevlar cables wrapping around the foot for added flexibility/fit/twisting stability and improved heel support. Plus, the Wildfire 2 quickly and easily switches from hiking to climbing mode thanks to the SALEWA® Switchfit adjustment system. The result: enhanced edge grip and overall safety on technical terrain. Additionally, the Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) midsole offers a customizable fit for either close comfort or a wider fit.

To tackle the elements, the Wildfire GTX features a GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining to provide waterproof and breathable protection. The Pomoca Speed MTN outsole has a climbing zone at the toe and aggressive lugs for good traction on mud and loose terrain, while its S-Path technology ensures a more natural roll. And the gripping POMOCA rubber provides good friction in both dry and wet conditions.
