The Blue Steel alloy covering this range of bits Jump'In is made up of 54% carbon and 46% manganese. The Blue Steel bits oxidise when exposed to air and moisture. This creates a fine layer of rust with a sweet taste that naturally boosts saliva production. As the horse salivates more, it makes better contact with the bit. During this oxidation process, the colour will change to grey/brown.

Effect: The 2-ring bit is the simplest in action, both for the rider and in the horse's mouth, with the large flat rings providing a very slight leverage effect and especially better framing. This bit is very suitable for young horses taking their first steps.

Usage advice: This bit is one of the great classics, suitable for all types of horses. This alloy will oxidise over time and therefore rust, which will help relax the horse during work.
