This cushion is cut lower at the shoulders to provide padding for the long esophagus plates. The underside is made of genuine lambskin and has a pile depth of around 30 mm. The upper side is made from a special saddlecloth fabric. The pad is attached to the saddle girth with Velcro straps. The lambskin is folded over on the upper front side and can be used to position the saddle. The lambskin border at the rear provides additional protection and adds a decorative touch.
