Jump'In Mors Pessoa for Horse with Double Joint

Composition : Blue Steel and 100% copper rings. The Blue Steel alloy that covers this range of bits Jump'In is made up of 54% carbon and 46% manganese.

Effect : A rather lowering bit, the classic Pessoa has a more direct leverage effect than the German Pessoa. The double-jointed mouthpiece makes this bit more comfortable in the horse's mouth by relieving the discomfort area at the palate. The Blue Steel bits oxidize upon contact with air and moisture, resulting in a fine layer of rust with a sweet taste that naturally stimulates saliva production. As the horse salivates more, it makes better contact with the bit. During this oxidation process, the colour will change to grey/brown.

Usage advice : This bit can be used with reins fixed to the bottom ring, with a connecting strap, or with two sets of reins. Its mouthpiece size, slightly thinner than a standard mouthpiece, will allow for a bit more finesse in what one seeks to achieve.
