Double Jointed Copper Ring Olive Bit for Horse Discover the olive bit Jump'In, combining comfort and effectiveness for harmonious work with your horse.
Composition: Blue Steel and 100% copper rings. The Blue Steel alloy that covers this range of bits Jump'In is made up of 54% carbon and 46% manganese.
Effect: The rings of the Verdun provide good framing and offer a solid alternative to needle bits. The double-jointed mouthpiece makes this bit more comfortable in the horse's mouth by relieving the discomfort at the palate level; moreover, the rings on the central joint encourage relaxation in the horse during work. Blue Steel bits oxidise when exposed to air and moisture, resulting in a fine layer of rust with a sweet taste that naturally stimulates saliva production. With increased salivation, the horse makes better contact with its bit. During this oxidation process, the colour will change to grey/brown.
Usage advice: Suitable for all types of horses, this bit is very ergonomic. Its slightly narrower mouthpiece compared to a standard mouthpiece allows for a bit more finesse in what you are trying to achieve. The rings can help have a more focused horse in its work and more engaged with its bit.
Care advice: Rinse the bit well after each use to limit residue build-up and prevent discomfort for your horse.
