The insulating softshell material, made using eco-friendly practices, is 100% windproof and extends down below the knee. The section between the knee and ankle, which has a fitted cut, is windproof at the front and made from elastic Lycra® at the back. The two-way side zips make it easy to put on, allow for wearing with protective gear, and also serve as ventilation openings. The adjustable waistband is cut higher at the back and features elastic inserts to fit snugly to the body and protect the lower back, which is particularly sensitive to cold. The Eco Finish of this product provides an eco-friendly water-repellent finish without fluorocarbons (PFC).
