The pommel, combined with the special layers of the structure saddle, ensures freedom of the withers and a stable connection of the left and right sides of a treeless saddle.

The pommel is easily interchangeable and must be adjusted to the horse's back. There are 6 pommel sizes available, from XS to XXL. A correctly fitted pommel guarantees freedom of the withers.
The best way to determine the correct size is to first consult an EDIX® dealer. Telephone advice, photo images or a fitting consultation will help you determine the right size. If in doubt, it's best to order an extra size and simply try it on.

Some time after using a treeless saddle for the first time (under the influence of proper training combined with increased freedom of movement), your horse's musculature will increase and a larger pommel may be required.

• XS: extra size semi-quarter
• S : half-quarter size
• M : Quarter size
• L : Full quarter
• XL : Quarter size extra
• XXL : Quarter size extra extra full

The knobs are covered with cowhide argentine.
