HIGHSIDER Resistor CAN-BUS CBW1 with DIP switch.

Our new CAN-BUS resistor HIGHSIDER CBW1 fits most vehicles equipped with a CAN-BUS system.

The CBW1 resistor provides the necessary electrical load for your vehicle, which, if the DIP switches are set correctly, will prevent the flashing of accessory indicators in the cockpit.

In addition, reliability is given. This means:
If the accessory indicators fail due to an electronic fault, an error message is immediately displayed in the cockpit.

Up to two channels can be used, e.g. left and right rear indicators.

If two pairs of indicators are to be replaced, two CBW1s must also be used.

What conditions must be met to use the CBW1 on the motorcycle?
Either:
The motorcycle was produced atorigine with LED indicators.
Or:
The motorcycle is equipped with a CAN-BUS system.

If these conditions are not met, the CBW1 unit will not work (!) In this case, we recommend the following resistors:
For 21 Watt indicators
6.8 Ohm part no. 207-025
or
10 Ohm part no. 207-028

For 10 Watt indicators
27 Ohm part no. 207-020

The following resistance values can be set on the CBW1:
150 ohms
170 ohms
240 ohms
300 ohms
400 ohms
600 ohms
1200 ohms
