Reduced drag and increased speed thanks to the 45 mm rims inspired by NACA profiles. The lightweight rim reduces inertia and allows for immediate acceleration. The tapered flat spokes lighten the wheel and improve its responsiveness.

The reduced drag, low inertia, and high lateral stiffness of the Cosmic SL 45 Disc make it a fast and efficient wheel on all types of terrain, from flat roads to mountain climbs. Special disc brake design allows for better handling and compatibility with 12 mm thru-axles.

The optimised UST Road system provides more speed, more comfort, and better handling, all with an easy-to-use tubeless system

No inner tube means less friction, more efficiency and grip, and better puncture protection. The new profile of the upper rim bridge makes mounting and changing tyres easier.

Compatibility

• Front axle: 12 x 100 thru-axle, easily convertible to quick-release with supplied adapters. Incompatible with 15 mm thru-axles.
• Rear axle: 12 mm thru-axle, convertible to quick-release using supplied adapters.

Usage

• ASTM CATEGORY 2: road and gravel paths, jumps lower than 15 cm
• To optimise wheel longevity, Mavic recommends that the maximum weight supported by the wheels does not exceed 120 kg, including the weight of the bike.
• Recommended tyre widths: 25 to 32 mm
• Max pressure: refer to the indications on the wheel and tyre. If they differ, choose the lower one.
