Installation instructions

- Drain your oil according to your user manual.
- Carefully remove your old filter cover, ensuring not to damage the sealing surface of the casing.
- Remove the o-ring, clean it and install it on your new filter cover.
- If you're replacing your oil filter, remove it along with the springs that hold it in place and dispose of it.
- Clean inside the filter hole and check for any signs of damage; metal shavings can be a sign of extreme engine wear.
- Take your new oil filter and soak it in your new engine oil.
- Install your new oil filter, the original spring, and the new filter cover.
- Refill your oil according to your user manual.
