RFX Motorcycle oil filter cap Pro Kawasaki KXF450

The RFX Pro series oil filter covers are made from 7075-T6 aluminium for better dimensional stability under high heat and pressure conditions.

The RFX filter covers also feature an increased flow design for better oil circulation.

Assembly Instructions

- Drain your oil according to your owner's manual.
- Carefully remove your old filter cover, taking care not to damage the sealing surface of the crankcase.
- Remove the O-ring, clean it, and install it on your new filter cover.
- If replacing your oil filter, remove it along with the springs holding it in place and dispose of it.
- Clean the inside of the filter hole and check for any signs of damage; metal shavings can be a sign of extreme engine wear.
- Take your new oil filter and soak it in your new engine oil.
- Install your new oil filter, the original spring, and the new filter cover.
- Refill your oil according to your owner's manual.
