RFX Motorcycle oil filter cap Fantic Pro Series Fantic XEF 250

The oil filter housings RFX Pro Series are machined from 7075-T6 aluminium for improved dimensional stability under high heat and pressure.

The filter housings RFX also feature an increased flow design for better oil circulation.

Installation instructions:

• Drain the oil according to the maintenance manual.
• Carefully remove the old filter housing, taking care not to damage the sealing surface of the engine casing.
• Remove the O-ring, clean it and install it on the new filter housing.
• If the oil filter is being replaced, remove it along with the retaining springs and dispose of the filter.
• Clean the inside of the filter housing and inspect for any signs of wear; the presence of metal shavings may indicate excessive engine wear.
• Soak the new oil filter in new engine oil.
• Install the new oil filter, the original spring, and the new filter housing.
• Check the oil level as per the maintenance manual.
