RFX Motorcycle oil filter cap KTM Pro Series

The RFX Pro Series oil filter cases are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum for enhanced dimensional stability under high heat and pressure.

The RFX filter cases also feature an increased flow design for better oil circulation.

Installation Instructions:

• Drain the oil according to the service manual.
• Carefully remove the old filter case, ensuring not to damage the sealing surface of the engine case.
• Remove the o-ring, clean it, and install it on the new filter case.
• If the oil filter is being replaced, take it out along with the retaining springs and dispose of the filter.
• Clean the inside of the filter housing and inspect for any signs of wear; the presence of metal shavings may indicate excessive engine wear.
• Soak the new oil filter in new engine oil.
• Install the new oil filter, the original spring, and the new filter case.
• Recheck the oil level according to the service manual.
