RFX Rear wheel spacer for motorcycle Honda Pro Series

The RFX Pro Series wheel spacers are lighter and more durable than the original parts.

Made from 7075-T6 aluminium and colour anodised, they resist surface wear and limit dirt entry into the hub, extending the lifespan of the bearings.

A rear shoulder keeps the spacers attached to the seals, limiting their drop during maintenance and speeding up wheel changes.

Installation instructions:

1. Place the motorcycle on a lift, with the wheels off the ground.
2. Remove the large axle nut and loosen the pinch bolts at the bottom of the fork clamp.
3. Remove the wheel axle; a brass drift and hammer may be needed if the axle is stuck.
4. The front wheel can then be taken off.
5. The rear wheel should be free enough to be pushed forward to release the chain from the sprocket.
6. Remove the rear wheel.
7. Take off the wheel spacers.
8. Clean the inside and the circumference of the seals with a contact cleaner (e.g., Maxima Electrical Contact) and re-grease under the seal.
9. Install the new spacers.
10. Spread the pads in the brake calipers to make repositioning the wheel easier.
11. Put the wheels back in place and insert the axles.
12. Reinstall the chain and adjust the tension using the axle adjusters.
13. Torque down the axle nuts to the recommended specification.
14. Once the motorcycle is back on its wheels, compress the forks a few times to align the tubes, then tighten the pinch bolts.
15. Engage the brakes to realign the calipers.
