RFX Rear wheel spacer for motorcycle Kawasaki Pro Series

The RFX Pro Series wheel spacers are lighter and more durable than the original parts.

Made from 7075-T6 aluminium and anodised in colour, they resist surface wear and limit dirt entering the hub, extending the life of the bearings.

A rear shoulder keeps the spacers attached to the seals, preventing them from falling out during maintenance and speeding up wheel changes.

Installation Instructions:

1. Place the motorcycle on a motorcycle lift, with the wheels off the ground.
2. Remove the large axle nut and loosen the pinch bolts on the bottom of the fork clamp.
3. Extract the wheel axle; a brass punch and hammer may be needed if the axle is stuck.
4. The front wheel can then be removed.
5. The rear wheel should be loose enough to be pushed forward to release the chain from the sprocket.
6. Remove the rear wheel.
7. Remove the wheel spacers.
8. Clean the inside and around the seals with contact cleaner (for example, Maxima Electrical Contact) and re-grease under the seal.
9. Install the new spacers.
10. Spread the pads in the brake calipers to make it easier to reposition the wheel.
11. Put the wheels back in place and insert the axles.
12. Reconnect the chain and adjust the tension via the axle adjusters.
13. Tighten the axle nuts to the recommended torque.
14. Once the motorcycle is on its wheels, compress the forks several times to align the tubes, then tighten the pinch bolts.
15. Engage the brakes to realign the calipers.
