RFX Front motorcycle wheel spacer Yamaha Pro Series

The wheel spacers RFX Pro Series are lighter and more durable than the original parts.

Made from 7075-T6 aluminium and anodised in colour to increase durability. This reduces surface wear and limits dirt penetration into the hub, thus extending the lifespan of the bearing.

Designed with a rear lip to keep them attached to the seals, this reduces the risk of dropping during maintenance and speeds up wheel changes.

Products RFX are tested and used by many top-level Grand Prix and British Motocross teams.

Mounting Instructions

• Start with the bike on a stand, wheels off the ground.
• Remove the main spindle nut and loosen the pinch bolts at the bottom of the fork.
• Remove the wheel spindle; a brass punch and hammer may be needed if it's tight.
• The front wheel can now be removed.
• The rear wheel should now be loose enough to push forward and lift the chain off the rear sprocket.
• The rear wheel can now be removed.
• Remove the wheel spacers.
• Clean around the seals with a contact cleaner such as Maxima Electrical Contact and re-grease under the seal.
• Install the new wheel spacers.
• Spread the brake pads inside the calipers to make it easier to refit the wheel.
• Reassemble the wheels and insert the spindles.
• Reinstall the chain and adjust the appropriate tension by adjusting the axle adjusters.
• Tighten the main spindle nuts to the correct torque.
• Bike off the stand, pump the forks.
