RFX Front motorcycle wheel spacer KTM Pro Series

The wheel spacers RFX Pro Series are lighter and more durable than the original parts.

Made from 7075-T6 aluminium and anodised in colour to enhance durability. This reduces surface wear and limits dirt penetration into the hub, thus prolonging the lifespan of the bearing.

Designed with a rear lip to keep them attached to the seals, it reduces the risk of dropping them during maintenance and speeds up wheel changes.

The products RFX are tested and used by many top-level British Grand Prix and Motocross teams.

Installation instructions

• Start with the bike on a stand, wheels off the ground.
• Remove the main spindle nut and loosen the clamp screws at the bottom of the forks.
• Remove the wheel spindle; a brass punch and hammer may be needed if tight.
• The front wheel can now be removed.
• The rear wheel should now be loose enough to push forward and lift the chain off the rear sprocket.
• The rear wheel can now be removed.
• Remove the wheel spacers.
• Clean around the seals with a contact cleaner such as Maxima Electrical Contact and re-grease under the seal.
• Install the new wheel spacers.
• Spread the brake pads inside the calipers to ease wheel reinstallation.
• Reassemble the wheels and insert the spindles.
• Reattach the chain and set the proper tension by adjusting the axle adjusters.
• Tighten the main spindle nuts to the appropriate torque.
• Bike off the stand, pump the forks.
