RFX Front motorcycle wheel spacer KTM Pro Series

The RFX Pro Series wheel spacers are lighter and more durable than original parts.

Made from 7075-T6 aluminium and anodised in colour to increase durability. This reduces surface wear and limits dirt penetration into the hub, thereby extending the bearing lifespan.

Designed with a rear lip to keep them secured to the seals, this reduces the risk of dropping them during maintenance and speeds up wheel changes.

The RFX products are tested and used by many high-level Grand Prix and British Motocross teams.

Installation instructions

• Start with the bike on a stand, wheels off the ground.
• Remove the main spindle nut and loosen the clamp bolts on the bottom of the forks.
• Remove the wheel spindle; a brass punch and hammer may be needed if stuck.
• The front wheel can now be removed.
• The rear wheel should now be loose enough to push forward and lift the chain off the rear sprocket.
• The rear wheel can now be removed.
• Remove the wheel spacers.
• Clean around the seals with a contact cleaner such as Maxima Electrical Contact and re-grease under the seal.
• Install the new wheel spacers.
• Push the brake pads apart inside the calipers to make wheel fitting easier.
• Reassemble the wheels and insert the spindles.
• Reconnect the chain and adjust the proper tension by adjusting the axle adjusters.
• Tighten the main spindle nuts to the appropriate torque.
• Bike off the stand, pump the forks.
