RFX Motorcycle crown Aprilia RXV 450 Pro Series 520

The RFX Pro Series Armalite crowns are designed and tested to the highest standard by the racing teams of world and British championships.

The dual-sprocket design offers optimal performance, reduced weight thanks to a 7075-T6 aluminium centre, and a longer lifespan for the teeth due to the outer ring made from high-density carbon steel.

The Armalite crowns also feature a hexagonal interface between the inner and outer rings, a revolutionary technology for crowns that maximizes the transmission between the two parts and reduces the force exerted on the rivets to zero.

Installation instructions:

• Start by placing the bike on a stand, with the rear wheel off the ground.
• Remove the chain and wheel from the bike.
• While holding the hex key, loosen the nuts with a spanner.
• Remove all nuts and the worn crown.
• Clean the perimeter of the hub, ensuring it is clean and free from debris.
• Take the new crown and place it on the hub, ensuring it fits snugly and the bolt holes are properly aligned.
• Clean the bolts and nuts of the crown.
• Apply blue Loctite to each bolt and insert them into the holes.
• Screw the nuts onto the bolts by hand, ensuring that the seals are intact and in good condition.
• Keep the hex key in place and tighten the nuts evenly.
• Tighten the nuts and bolts according to the user manual.
• Reattach the wheel to the bike, ensuring that the chain is properly aligned and tightened according to the manufacturer's specifications.
