RFX Motorcycle crown Husaberg Pro Series 520

The RFX Pro Series Armalite crowns are designed and tested at the highest level by the racing teams of the world and British championships.

The dual crown design offers optimal performance, reduced weight thanks to a 7075-T6 aluminium centre, and a longer tooth lifespan due to the special high carbon density steel exterior.

The Armalite crowns also feature a hexagonal interface between the inner ring and the outer ring, a revolutionary technology for crowns that maximises the transmission between the two parts and eliminates any force on the rivets.

Installation instructions:

• Start by placing the motorcycle on a stand, with the rear wheel off the ground.
• Remove the chain and wheel from the motorcycle.
• While holding the hex key, loosen the nuts using a spanner.
• Remove all the nuts and the worn crown.
• Clean the edge of the hub ensuring it's clean and free of debris.
• Take the new crown and place it on the hub making sure it fits properly and that the bolt holes are correctly positioned.
• Clean the bolts and the crown nuts.
• Apply blue Loctite to each bolt and insert them into the holes.
• Hand-tighten the nuts on the bolts ensuring the seals are intact and in good condition.
• Hold the hex key in place and evenly tighten the nuts.
• Torque the nuts and bolts according to the user manual.
• Reattach the wheel to the motorcycle ensuring the chain is aligned and tightened to the manufacturer's specifications.
