RFX Motorcycle oil filter cap Fantic XEF 450 Rally Pro Series

The RFX Pro Series oil filter casings are machined from 7075-T6 aluminium for improved dimensional stability under high heat and pressure.

The RFX filter casings also feature an enhanced flow design for better oil circulation.

Installation Instructions:

• Drain the oil according to the maintenance manual.
• Carefully remove the old filter casing, taking care not to damage the engine casing sealing surface.
• Remove the O-ring, clean it, and install it on the new filter casing.
• If the oil filter is being replaced, remove it along with the retaining springs and dispose of the filter.
• Clean the inside of the filter housing and inspect for any signs of wear; the presence of metal shavings can indicate excessive engine wear.
• Soak the new oil filter in fresh engine oil.
• Install the new oil filter, the original spring, and the new filter casing.
• Refill the oil level according to the maintenance manual.
