Installation instructions:

• Start by removing the front plate.
• Carefully cut the cable ties that hold the starter and stop switch cables on the handlebars, then unscrew the clamps and let them hang.
• Locate the switch connector on the motorcycle, which is often near the steering head on the frame but may sometimes be found under the tank.
• Disconnect the connector and remove the switch, noting the routing of the wiring.
• Clean the connector with an electrical contact cleaner.
• Lightly attach the new switch to the handlebars in the desired position.
• Route the wires as they were for the old switch and reconnect the connector.
• Check that the wires are not taut by turning the handlebars to full extension, adjusting if necessary.
• Reinstall the cable ties if possible, positioning the cables behind the handlebars to avoid damage from debris.
• Replace your front plate.
