The cotton bobbin is mounted on a special stainless steel bracket. The product will protect the swingarm area during most falls. Additionally, the bike can be lifted on the cotton bobbins using a paddock stand with hooks (suggests code R&G SH0001).

WHAT ARE R&G COTTON BOBBINS?

Cotton bobbins are great paddock stand supports that screw into the mounting points of your swingarm, giving you a secure and reliable lifting point while also helping protect the swingarm itself in the event of a slide or fall.

For bikes where the mounting holes are not centered or where the shape of the swingarm causes clearance issues, we also offer offset cotton bobbins. These use a stepped or angled design to move the lifting point outward, ensuring that the paddock stand engages properly and securely - even when a straight screw-in bobbin wouldn't fit correctly.
