Adding another sprocket might seem simple, but achieving it while maintaining not only the same dimensions but also improving performance and the lifespan of the component has been a real challenge! The new Super Record™ 12 Speed cassettes feature finer sprockets, reduced spacing, and unchanged dimensions compared to the 11 Speed sprockets, meeting all requirements with three cassette options: 11/29, 11/32, and 11/34 (the 11/34 cassette is compatible with Super Record™ and Record™ mechanical groups). The addition of the twelfth sprocket allows for a linear climb or descent with a single tooth jump up to the seventh position, enabling the cyclist to find the perfect gear in all situations. Moreover, the closely spaced sprockets ensure an even faster, quieter, and more precise gear change thanks to the unique design of the teeth and surface treatment that guarantees greater longevity. The six larger sprockets are also offered in two triplets made from a single block of steel to avoid energy loss. Installing the sprocket cassettes is straightforward thanks to spacers of the same thickness.
