About recycled polyester
It is mainly made from recycled PET plastic bottles. The production of recycled polyester does not use petroleum, which is a scarce resource on our planet, i.e. it saves natural resources and energy, as well as chemicals. It eliminates plastic from nature, which would otherwise have ended its life there. It emits less CO2 and requires much less water to produce than virgin polyester.
