Generally, leather is very well-liked; chewing it encourages salivation, which is beneficial for the horse, and as it moistens, it fits perfectly in the mouth.

Before each use, it is recommended to slightly wet it with water.

After use, it is advised to dry it to prevent dry saliva residues from damaging the material.

When you think the leather is dry, it should be soaked in oil to keep it in good condition.
