Zefal Footrest Christophe

French cyclist born on January 22, 1885 in Paris, Eugène Christophe is considered the inventor of the toe clip. In 1925, he sold his invention to the Poutrait-Morin company (now Zéfal), of which he was the director until his death in 1970.
