TheAmazone Fur Pas from EDIX is an anatomically shaped cushion made from a solid cotton quilted fabric on top and a high-quality merino® fur lambskin on the underside. The Amazone cushion is cut in the same way as the Amazone riding cushion.

On both sides of the spine, there are two large compartments for the inserts inside, which are already equipped with 3 inserts. Naturally, it is possible to choose a different type of insert if required. Where the rider's leg rubs during riding, nylon reinforcement has been applied to prevent wear.

High-quality Merino® wool is probably one of the most technically advanced materials in the world. Using the original hide instead of shaved and woven wool allows us to make the most of the advantages of this natural material. That's why we recommend using it directly on the horse's back.

The new free spinal canal of EDIX® Merino pads, with shaved merino wool, has been developed to reduce pressure points and offer the best possible protection to your horse's spine. In addition, the merino fur skin has a large surface area, so that the saddle panels rest entirely on it. In this way, the natural fibers effectively distribute perspiration outwards, helping to distribute pressure and absorb shock.
