The CXZ176 offers amazing performance, stability, warmth, and comfort throughout the day. With a sealed upper designed to keep your foot warm against the cold wind, the CXZ176 is a great alternative to wearing shoe covers.

Size suggestion: For use with winter socks, we recommend ordering 1 to 1.5 sizes up from your usual Lake Cycling shoe size.

<>CX/TX Sport - The higher cadence and longer ride times that are characteristic of road cycling require excellent foot control to avoid hot spots and numbness. With a much tighter fit than any of our off-road shapes, our Sport shape cradles the foot securely to prevent any unwanted movement. This shape features a precisely fitted toe box, a high arch, and a medium width at the ball of the foot.

Injected nylon fiberglass Road Sport outsole. Compatible only with 3-bolt road cleat and pedal systems.

Clarino microfiber and mesh upper. The CXZ176 features a fitted and durable microfiber upper with a comfortable and secure BOA® closure. From the front 1/2 toe to the midfoot, it has 200 grams of Thinsulate insulation to provide a comfortable and insulating barrier for added warmth and resistance to cold wind.

BOA® L6 closure system with power strap at the forefoot. The L6 dial offers a precise and micro-adjustable fit, maximum impact protection, and durability.

The uppers are treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) coating that will wear over time. We recommend reapplying a DWR spray 1 to 2 times a year for moderate cyclists and every 2 to 3 wet rides for daily cyclists.
