Description

The MXZ176 offers incredible performance, stability, warmth, and comfort all day long. With a sealed upper designed to keep your foot warm against the cold wind, the MXZ176 is a great alternative to wearing shoe covers.

Please note that sizes 36-38 do not accept front spikes.

Size suggestion: For use with winter socks, we recommend ordering 1 to 1.5 sizes up from your usual Lake Cycling shoe size.

Shape
MX Sport Last - This shape features a wider and roomier toe box than our Comfort shape while offering better foot control at the heel and arch. The resulting fit is designed for aggressive riding while remaining comfortable for all-day wear. Ideal for couriers, adventure cyclists, and anyone wearing their cycling shoes for long periods.

Outsole
Hypergrip Enduro outsole with Ice Lock anti-slip inserts.

Inner Lining
Clarino microfiber and mesh upper. The MXZ176 features a fitted and durable microfiber with a comfortable and secure BOA® closure. The front of the foot up to the midfoot is equipped with 200 grams of Thinsulate insulation to provide a comfortable and insulating barrier, increasing warmth and resistance to cold wind.

Closure
BOA® Fit System L6 dial with power strap at the forefoot. The L6 dial offers precise and micro-adjustable fit, maximum impact protection, and durability.

Temperature Rating
Down to -4°C.

Water Resistance
The uppers are treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) coating that will wear off over time. We recommend reapplying a DWR spray 1 to 2 times a year for moderate cyclists and every 2 to 3 wet rides for daily cyclists.
