Features

The fly rug Comfort offers maximum protection against insects, perfect for horses with very sensitive skin. It is equipped with our Comfort fastener, which eliminates any pressure for optimum comfort while the horse grazes. For added comfort and protection, a removable neck cover is included.

Fabrics and materials

The rug is made from a densely structured mesh fabric that repels most insects. This fabric is extremely durable and will accompany your horse through many summers in the field. The inside is smooth, providing a soft feel and preventing hair from sticking. Due to its light color, the rug reflects sunlight and does not retain heat. The fine mesh still allows for air permeability. The areas around the mane, chest, and tail are lined with smooth polyester to avoid rubbing.

Shape and size

The fly rug Comfort is anatomically designed to stay securely in place, even after the horse rolls. The front of the rug fastens with the Comfort fastener, which is easy to attach and without pressure. To protect the belly area, the rug features a belly flap, secured with a hook and loop and three straight surcingles. The belly flap is close to the horse's belly, preventing insects from entering from the sides. The tail flap is slightly longer than usual and includes an elastic for the tail, keeping it close to the rug for better protection. The removable neck cover is reinforced with a thicker and sturdier strap, preventing it from sliding. This strap is placed on each side of the neck, without applying direct pressure on the mane.

Care instructions

The rug is machine washable at 30 degrees. Allow to air dry after washing. We advise against using a tumble dryer.
