Etxeondo Wide shorts Dynamic Orhi

On your winter rides, whether on the road, gravel, or mountain bike, the new Orhi Dyneema shorts will provide the best protection against the cold and skin injuries in case of a fall. We present the first winter shorts using Dyneema fibre.

It is made by combining two technologies: the Thermosystem Termika fabric, which acts as a thermoregulator, maintaining body temperature while creating a layer of air between the fabric, the skin, and Dyneema 3.0 fibre, which offers excellent compression and high resistance to cuts and abrasion in the most exposed areas such as the hips and buttocks.

A meticulous cut combines different panels of fabric and Dyneema fibre, offering maximum freedom of movement as well as excellent comfort and compression for long winter rides. The stitching on the inner thighs has been removed to avoid chafing and improve the overall fit. A new fastening band has been added at the ankle and waist to enhance the placement of the shorts. The straps are made from a single piece without seams, eliminating pressure points while pedalling.

We use the technology Etxeondo Precision & Movement, which allows us to give a perfect anatomical shape to the Urraki padding, ensuring an unbeatable fit for the cyclist and their position in the shorts. The inner chamois is bonded to the shorts using elastic and silky threads to ensure smooth seams as well as fabric.

The Urraki chamois consists of different pieces of high-recovery viscoelastic foam with memory, so it does not deform and ensures independent movement from that of the cyclist on the bike. The outer fabric in microfiber reduces skin temperature during friction, and no glue or stamping is used to prevent allergic reactions or excessive skin heating in addition to the antibacterial treatment.
