MANUFACTURING QUALITY The MOB Group acquired TALABOT, Europe's leading manufacturer of files and rasps, 30 years ago. TALABOT files are characterized by their long cutting life, thanks to the high carbon content of the steel (1.3 to 1.4%). It is alloyed with chromium to obtain a powerful bite. MOB checks the chemical composition of the steel at each casting. Perfect mastery of hardening, a vital operation for cutting quality, guarantees file hardnesses of 65±2 HRC. MOB files comply with NF E 75 001-75 002. Dimensions : Files are defined by their length (excluding the tang) in mm, and their size: bastard for roughing, semi-soft for filing, and soft for finishing. Bimaterial handle: Polypropylene, for strength and relief for precision work, and elastomer, for flexibility and comfort - limits perspiration and overheating of the hand.
