<>The Universal Brake System Powerslide (UBS) was the first ever made from glass fibre reinforced plastic (GFRP) developed specifically for speed skates. The brake can be used on the most common speed frames available on the market. Additionally, the brake can also be adjusted in width to fit wider frames. It has been specially developed for a maximum of 4x100mm frame configurations. The brake comes with all necessary hardware. Assembling the brake takes about two minutes. The brake pad is made from durable and abrasion-resistant NR/SBR material, a mix of natural and synthetic rubber.>
