Since hundreds of centuries olives are used for food, for cosmetics or as medicine. The leaves of the trees were burnt after harvesting - tons of CO2 occurred. German ingeneers invented a patented tanning extract from the fallen leaves - thus avoiding salts, chrome and sulfur in the leather hides. The same ingredients as in extra virgine oil or olive cosmetics now tan natural cow hides.
Olive leather so was awarded with "Dermatest", "Gold Rated Leather" and "cradle to cradle". Enjoy our dogʼs accessories with olive leather. You even might smell the Italian odor of fresh olives.
