Bang, bang, bang, bang. We all know that sound. The sound of a new cricket bat being struck. Traditionally, you might have used a cricket ball in a sock, but now you can use the Gray-Nicolls deluxe batting mallet to hit your bat.

The luxury mallet is used as part of the preparation method for hitting a bat. The mallet is used to soften the face of a new cricket bat so that it is ready for use in the nets or during the match. Easy to hold and use, the mallet has a comfortable handle and is very durable.

We recommend using the deluxe mallet for a few hours when the bat is new before using it for the first time against a cricket ball. For advice on knock-in, please contact us.
