Hayes Brake fluid DOT 5.1

Hayes DOT 5.1 brake fluid (118 ml) is a high-performance brake fluid designed to lubricate and protect brake system components while providing reliable braking power. The anti-vapor formula maintains the responsiveness and performance of Hayes DOT 5.1 brake fluid by fighting water contamination and vaporization. The advanced formula resists corrosion and oxidation. Its low viscosity ensures excellent braking feel. Hayes DOT 5.1 brake fluid can be mixed withautres brake fluids DOT 3, 4 or 5.1. In its 118 ml version, Hayes DOT 5.1 brake fluid can be used for two to four brake bleeds.

• Point dry boiling point (ERBP*): 269°C
• Point wet boiling point (Wet ERBP**): 187°C
• Viscosity at -40°C: 810 mm2/s (cSt)

* ERBP (Equilibrium Reflux Boiling Point) is the temperature at which the uncontaminated liquid begins to boil.

** Wet ERBP is the temperature at which the liquid begins to boil after having had time to absorb moisture from the environment.
