Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixation is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road is not compliant with road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install them in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific certification is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for use on track; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bag, flashlight, or license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. This starts from the date of purchase, with repair rights reverting to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must accept to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
