Are dbkillers removable? Altering dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer has the approval code. If problems arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or tutorials visible on and on youtube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different angle of the gas due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any requests for this will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair, with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one for repair; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
