The padding corresponds to the rider's head circumference. Padding is included for all models listed above, except for the Endurance model, which comes with the CRX.PAD.ENDUR.C padding by default. The paddings KEP are divided into 12 sizes, based on the size of the shell: Medium shell, padding size 51 to 58; Large shell, padding size 59 to 62. The KEP Italia padding is made from a single piece, easy to remove and replace inside the helmet. It can be hand washed or machine washed at 30 °C or in cold water. It is made from Coolmax®, a fabric that uses an innovative fibre capable of keeping a cool temperature and improving skin hydration, as well as swiftly wicking away moisture. The fact that the padding matches the rider's size allows those who sometimes ride with loose hair and sometimes with tied-up hair to have two interchangeable paddings of different sizes. The same goes for children who are still growing, as they can easily adjust their helmet to the size of their head. Their parents can buy the next size up and replace the one that has become too small, without needing to purchase a new helmet. Standard padding: available in black and beige. Endurance padding: available in black with micro-perforated mesh padding. Winter padding: available in black, it protects the rider's ears and neck from the cold.
