Are db killers removable? Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on-road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must first check whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for annual inspection.
The kit can be used for official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
A specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If issues are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens, not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorbike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight, and any parts that would conflict with the different gas angle following the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the time of purchase, the right to repair is retained with return to GPR's factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
