Are removable db killers allowed? Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and not in compliance with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations on the road network and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, and no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, requesting information and/or advice from customer service immediately.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens, not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on track only, without a luggage rack, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or any other parts that may interfere with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
