Are removable dbkillers allowed? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must first check if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If any problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for race use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight, and without a license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with different gas angles due to the conversion to race version. Misusing this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. Starting from the date of purchase, warranty for repair is valid with return to the GPR factory or the closest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must accept reinstalling the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
