Description
Designed to withstand the kind of intensive use encountered in the big wall of the same nom, the Capitan is the high-resistance Black Diamond helmet that offers extra protection on the sides and rear, while retaining a low-volume profile and optimum levels of comfort for long days. The Capitan features an ABS-constructed shell with optimized fit, available in two colors. It combines EPP foam with an EPS foam shell that meets UIAA requirements for side and rear protection. The Capitan helmet's air vents ensure breathability in hot weather, and the reduced-volume suspension system allows for a precise fit. Integrated headlamp hooks hold the elastic headband at the back for a reliable headlamp fit and easier progress at night.
