Are the dbkillers removable? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only allowed for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? Yes.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for race use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Misusing this situation on the road will lead to the loss of product warranty and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with repair rights, with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
