Are the db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only permitted for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the mounting instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is NOT ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight and license plate holder, or other parts that would interfere with the changed gas angle due to the conversion to the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
