Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is non-compliant with road traffic regulations.
CAUTION: this item is homologated for noise; the customer must verify in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still advisable to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local residents and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not only illegal, but the customer also assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without luggage, flashlight, license plate holder, or any other parts that would conflict with the different angle of the gas due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty and any claims will be rejected. This applies from the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
