Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or breakaway screws or removing the fittings is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved; the customer must verify beforehand whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations and to conduct the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, as well as installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local residents and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight and license plate holder, or any parts that might conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to a race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with repair rights to be returned to GPR's factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one being repaired; the customer must accept reinstallation of the original exhaust or wait the standard timeframe for repairs.
